Terre Haute, In. – The Terre Haute Police Department has been holding training events for every officer. Officers spend time going through driving and different traffic stop scenarios. In these scenarios, instructors play the felons and throw different curve balls to the responding officers. This includes things like running on foot or shooting at the officers. Officers drive through several driving courses, display a shuffle approach to steering and three-point turns.
