Patsy M. Seward Hoopingarner, 82, of Terre Haute passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024. She was born June 30, 1941 in Terre Haute to Clarence Reffett and Sarah Marie Florye Reffett.
Survivors include her children, Robert E. Hoopingarner, Jr., William Hoopingarner, James Hoopingarner (Deanna) and Cathy Seward (Clifford Dickerson); several grandchildren including Faith, Roman, Kevin, Angelina, Trinity, Anthony, Dailen and Ashlynn; and a great-grandchild, Tanessa. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husbands, Robert E. Hoopingarner, Sr. and Robert Seward.
Patsy was a graduate of Gerstmeyer High School. She loved animals, loved God and believed in taking care of His creation, and also taking loving care of her family and any others that needed help.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Monday, July 1, 2024 in Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home, 605 South 25th Street, with Mrs. Deanna Hoopingarner officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn Cemetery. Visitation is scheduled prior to services from 10:00-11:00 AM in the funeral home.
